Public access to documents (Rule 116(7)) for the years 2014-2015

Own-initiative dossier on public access to documents for 2014-2015. Invoking the Lisbon Treaty, the Charter and Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001, amendments argue that trilogue documents should be accessible to ensure legislative transparency, criticise access favouring lobbyists over the public, journalists and academics, call for publishing negotiation progress, a joint legislative register, a register of delegated acts, and transparency of Council debates.
