Summary
This is an own-initiative report on a coherent EU policy for cultural and creative industries (CCIs). The amendments stress the dual value of CCIs in preserving cultural and linguistic diversity, links to artists and creators, smart and inclusive growth, cultural diplomacy strengthening relations with third countries, and concern over piracy and counterfeiting affecting CCIs and citizens.
