2017/0035(COD)·8th term·AFCO / AGRI / ECON / ENVI / INTA / ITRE / JURI·COD - Ordinary legislative procedure (ex-codecision procedure)·Lapsed / rejectedProcedure lapsed or withdrawn
Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): ABADÍA JOVER Maravillas (EPP)
Summary

A legislative file on mechanisms for Member State control of the Commission's exercise of implementing powers at appeal committee level. The amendments change voting rules in the committees and appeal committee to reduce 'no opinion' outcomes, increase transparency by publishing individual Member State votes, and address Commission discretion in cases such as authorisations of genetically modified food and feed.

4 roll-call votes

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
