Summary
The dossier concerns the prudential supervision of investment firms. Amendments address requirements stemming from existing credit-institution frameworks, the role of competent authorities and their cooperation with EBA and ESMA, remuneration and corporate-governance principles, treatment of large asset managers and liquidity mismatch, professional indemnity insurance, tax-transparency disclosure, and administrative penalties (effective, proportionate and dissuasive) including their publication and breach-reporting mechanisms.
