Summary

The dossier concerns the school scheme for fruit, vegetables, milk and dairy products under the Common Market Organisation Regulation. Amendments revise recitals on promoting healthy, balanced diets and a healthy lifestyle, childhood overweight and obesity, nutrition and environmental education on matters such as local food chains, organic farming and food waste, and the link between fruit and vegetable consumption and reduced disease risk.
