Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): NIEDERMAYER Luděk (EPP)
Summary

Legislative proposal on early intervention measures, conditions for resolution and funding of resolution action (BRRD3). The amendments rework the conditions under which an institution is failing or likely to fail, the role of an IPS and of alternative private sector and supervisory measures, the public interest assessment for resolution versus winding up under normal insolvency proceedings, presumptions for small and large institutions, and reporting tasks assigned to the EBA.

In plenary, Parliament usually votes in steps: first on amendments to the text (sometimes split into parts, so Members can accept one half of a sentence and reject the other), then on the text as a whole. The “main vote” is the one that adopts or rejects the text itself. Each vote below shows exactly which step it was. How voting works →
