Summary

The dossier concerns conservation, management and control measures in the area covered by the Convention on future multilateral cooperation in the North-East Atlantic fisheries. Amendments address surveillance of landings of certain pelagic stocks through camera and sensor technologies above a tonnage threshold, definitions (VMS, electronic fishing logbook, FMC), vessel authorisation, temporary closures, gear marking and retrieval of lost gear, transhipment and landing notifications, and the roles of NEAFC and flag Member States.
