Summary

Proposal on the provision of digital euro services by payment service providers incorporated in Member States whose currency is not the euro. The amendments revise provisions making digital-euro regulation requirements applicable to such providers, the freedom to provide services and non-discriminatory conditions, online and offline functionalities, services to visitors and non-residents with consent and disclaimers favouring the home currency, and annual reporting on the volume and geographic origin of transactions.
