Registration of persons sailing on board passenger ships operating to or from ports of the Member States: simplification

A directive simplifying the registration of persons sailing on passenger ships operating to or from Member States' ports. Amendments address the National Single Window, thresholds and time limits for recording and reporting persons on board, data collected such as date of birth, place of residence and emergency contact, protection and destruction of personal data, exclusion of pleasure craft, and appointment of a passenger registrar.
